I’ve been working with many new RISC-V boards latley and I have some suggestions for improvements.
Please make your documentation in English as well as other languages
New boards are considered (tinkerer) boards, please make it so we can install anything we want on them without worrying about keys and security.
Stop putting old versions of Linux on them
Come to a standard when it comes to EFI and boot requirements
Never release a board with 4 GIGs of RAM – at least 8 or more
If the board comes with m.2 slot, then make it easy to use, switch to and boot from.
Make sure your board has support forum/discord before release
Always supply Debug cables for console to trouble shoot issues
Work with the community to improve your board.
Thank you for your time.
